SPARKLING CYANIDE

1. Stephen Faraday
He was a politician, brilliant as well. Rosemary loved him very much, so did Faraday, their affair run about 8 moth. But Faraday didn't want to be issued their affair, because it could break their reputation as a politician.

2. Alexandra Faraday
She was Faraday's wife, was suspected as a murder because of her jealous to a lovely Rosemary.

3. Anthony Brown
He was a traveler, good looking, kind, humorous. He loved Rosemary, but he changed his mind after he knows that Rosemary did not love him.

4. Ruth Lessing
She was George's secretary, she loved him very much but she hated Rosemary, because of her charm and rich. She also saw Rosemary made a love with others.

5. Iris Marley
Iris might be suspected as a murderer because of her jealous. Rosemary got a lot of money and estate; she was a lovely woman and rich as well. Iris did hope she became rich after Rosemary's death.

The glasses were raised to their lops...........George swayed forward and slumped down in his chair, his hands raising frenziedly to his neck, his face turning purple as he fought for breath. It took him a minute and a half to die.
Falling Action : Book III Iris (page 101 - 134).
Resolution : From Chapter six (page 135) (Lucille Drake was delighted to see Colonel Race.
The story used FLASH BACK. Irish the narrator of this story really thinking about his sister’s death Rosemary. She told what she has known about Rosemary and her family.

9. Comment : This story is very interesting and challenging. Agatha Christie’s stories teach us how to solve the puzzle. This story is not compatible for the student for Junior because the story is too complicated either in the plot and the language. But, the conveyance of moral value is applicable for student of Junior High School

Synopsis

Iris, a poor girl lived with her sister and her sister's husband, George, in Evanston Square, after her mother death. Iris's sister, Rosemary, is a rich, a beautiful, and a lovely woman is a heiress of his uncle Paul. If Rosemary died childless Iris would get all money and estate. When Rosemary gave her birthday party at the restaurant Luxemburg, she invited six people: Iris, Stephen Faraday, George, Ruth Lessing, and Anthony Brown. Suddenly Rosemary death after drinking champagne consists of cyanide. George started to investigate what caused of her death.
After next six moth, George received a letter from unknown person stated that Rosemary has murdered, not suicide, he became frustration. He realized of his wife's devotion, so, he invited six people in the same place when Rosemary died in order to celebrate his wife's death. Then, he died after drinking cyanide in his champagne.
Kemp (policeman) try to investigate more deeply who is the real murderer. It comes to the conclusion that Ruth Lassing, George's secretary, is the real murderer of those both victims by adding cyanide in their champagne.
